Cotti Trolese Architects, in collaboration with CT Works, has completed the new J.M. Davidson boutique at Burlington Arcade, one of London’s most iconic retail destinations.
The boutique marks a significant moment for the British leather goods and fashion brand, bringing its understated luxury into a setting that bridges retail and residential design. The interiors are conceived as a refined living space. An environment that invites intimacy, reflection and connection with the craft behind the collections.
“Burlington Arcade has long been a showcase for elegance and heritage. Our ambition was to create a space that honours that legacy while offering something unmistakably contemporary,” said Nicola Cotti, Principal Architect at Cotti Trolese. “The boutique feels like a sophisticated salon, warm and familiar yet precise and elevated.”
The project was delivered as a full design-and-build commission, with Cotti Trolese leading the concept and CT Works executing the construction. A distinctive feature of the collaboration is the fidelity between the original renders and the realised boutique. The result is a testament to the team’s attention to detail and shared vision.
Positioned just off Piccadilly and opposite the Royal Academy, the new J.M. Davidson boutique enhances Burlington Arcade’s reputation as a destination for luxury retail. Since its opening, the space has drawn attention for its ability to merge high-end retail with the sensibility of a private interior.
